What is „Geomapping“?
Geomapping is the presentation of data in digital maps. The basis are data which can be geographically linked due to any spatial component. In marketing, tourism and CRM almost 80 % of the data is suitable for geomapping.

Is it worth to apply geomapping?
- Geomapping can present complex and comprehensive data in a clear arranged way.
- Example: data which link a destination's visitors' origins to postal areas. The source table of this data doesn't tell you much about the spatial distribution of your visitors' origins. A map which links the number of visitors to postal areas highly improves the understanding of your statistics.
- Consequently by the use of geomapping you can identify your market segments or check your advertisement campaign's responses very easily and effectively.
How is geomapping done?
- As first, we will have a look on your existing data and set up the project's framworks. What is the purpose of the maps? Who is going to see them? Which decisions shall be supported by the maps?
- Based on your data, I make digital maps with a GIS software (GIS = geographic information system).
- In several production steps, I prepare your data and produce suitable data tables for the GIS software. Then the data tables are integrated into the GIS database.
- By the use of the spatial component, the data is linked to a suitable map. Thus the single data is linked to its geographical reference point. With regard to the purpose and the data, the map is designed and layouted in your company's corporate design.
- According to the data which you are providing and your requested project frameworks, one map will cost between 150 € and 500 €.
